“ Best thing I have treated myself to in a long time. I thought I was underdressed but these folks are top notch. The salad prepared your table is like watch a creme brulee served, it's a production! Didn't but the beverage list is incredible. I got a seafood dish with two lobster tails, shrimp, clams, octopus, and mussels from East Coast fresh over a bed of linguine for under 50 bucks. See the before and after pictures below. I came on a Saturday night and was only one seated at the bar, if in a group try to make reservations. Also please note that sushi restaurant around the corner is actually part of the same building and owner! So servers are actually working to restaurants at the same time. For those concerned about cross contamination, there are two separate kitchens depending on what you came for. This was my only meal in Durango and it is definitely a go to when you want to treat yourself and others to a great culinary experience. ”
“ If you are in Durango (and appreciate real Italian food), I highly recommend dining at Mama Silvia’s. You won’t be disappointed! For drinks, our party enjoyed the blackberry mojito, sangria, and espresso martini. They were absolutely delicious! We were slightly overwhelmed when it came to ordering food but that is only because there were so many tasty sounding options on the menu. We ended up selecting the agnolotti, veal Parmesan and Paglia E Fieno and shared. Absolutely delicious; you can tell the dishes are made from scratch. We ate everything on our plates. We made sure to save room for dessert and are so glad we did. The strawberry shortcake and chocolate mouse were some of the best desserts we have tasted. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the cocktails, menu options or desserts at Mama Silvia’s. Enjoy! ”
“ We had a wonderful dinner tonight at Mamma Silvia’s. Our waitstaff, Desiree, was attentive and gracious throughout dinner. The appetizers, caprese burrito and calimari were spot on. The house Sangria was over the top. Entrees arrived hot and delicious! And then, came dessert. Mama Mia - the strawberry shortcake with fruit, was out of this world. Demand for this restaurant is high; although we didn’t have reservations, you should. ”
“ Absolutely great evening! The service was prompt and energetic, the Owner/Chef came over to meet us and personally prepared our meal. His son was our waiter and was right there whenever we needed anything. Little things like water being filled when glass got to half empty, bread, oil and parmesan tableside and the food was 5-Star. We ordered the Chicken Marsala and Chicken Saltimbocca and split between each other. The Marsala was cooked perfectly, chicken was tender and moist and the mushroom sauce was very very good. The chicken in the Saltimbocca was wrapped in prosciutto that crisped up perfectly, the sauce was like nothing I've ever had and it was delicious - ASK FOR EXTRA cause it's that good. We also ordered angel hair pasta to go with both dishes as they came with fresh veggies and b-potatoes - also delicious. Very nice wine selection too. We left very full and enjoyed our time there. We will be back. Highly recommend. ”
“ I want to first start by saying that I had an incredible experience at this restaurant thanks to the bartender, Sammi! I wanted to check this place out while visiting town because my mom is named Sylvia, but the day I came, I had a blistering headache. Sammi highlighted the herbal teas for me and her treatment fixed me right up! The food itself was very fresh tasting and the bread was great! I had the Bolognese and although it was lacking salt, the meal was fantastic and Sammi definitely made sure to check on me while recovering! I'd definitely come back the next time I visit Durango to get served by Sammi again. Fantastic person and she embodied what I thought of Mamma Silvia! ”
“ Delicious food with a low-key atmosphere. Staff were all friendly. The Spaghetti Carbonara was creamy and served with Spaghettis more fun relative: Bucatini. The Pappardelle had a lovely kick. 1/10/2022, Tried to come back, neither website or Google had correct hours at this time. Sign on door indicates that they are closed Monday and Tuesday. Very dissapointing, hopefully next time ”
